Points to Ponder

Call this what you may.

Why is that on an average, the gap between what a girl says and thinks is most of the times as high as 180 deg?

In my opinion the only way to know a girl is by her actions and NEVER by her words.

Occasionally i don the role of Agony uncle and i often feel ‘Man, if only i had brains enough, i would first and foremost write a patch to all the guy’s brains so that he compiles and interprets Girls ++ (a language like c++) correctly.

For eg. the words and the meaning to be interpreted are given in braces.

“You are such a nice guy , but…” (You, moron)
“One day our love will win” (Hm, wait for some more years. we’ll see)
“Lets be friends” (Gone case)
“Ayyo naan padikavey illa” (Supera padichirukken - this applies to padipps guys too.)
“You are such a nice guy” after some help.(Ilichavaaya, ipdiye iru)
“Broadminded” (My money will be my money, you money will be our money, ok va?)
“I dont know” (I dont think its going to work out).

If a girl says ‘ivan en best friend’ about a guy and actually does some work for him,
chances are, its not just friendhsip :P (a borderline case at the minimum )

It usually depends on the kind of work done by the girl relative to the work done for all her unambigous friends, greater the work, greater the probability of green signal.

Of course the default line will be usually “Just a friend” till its all official :D

My suggestion for guys is, interpret the signals and decide whether its caution, danger, amber or straight green:)

Any opinions to the contrary?

There was an interview with actor Madhavan some time back. One of the questions was about the things he didn’t like about females. Madhavan said that their (females’) body language does not betray their real feelings. I think he even said that most of the time their real feelings are just the opposite of their facial expression or body language.
