And the mega serial continues
And the mega serial continues. One suggestion, the selectors can also think about recalling Sunil Gavaskar, Mohinder Amarnath, Kapil Dev and even Ajit Wadekar based on their “experience” ![]()

Felt bad today when I saw the news a few minutes back.
Parthiv Patel / Zaheer Khan..included.!! Shame..on the indian selectors.
Any reason why they ignored Dinesh Karthick and Sree santh. !! Absolutely no idea.
Only idea : I read somewhere that Parthiv’s family are Diamond Merchants.!!
When Politics enters into Paper Towels……it stinks..!! Politicians stink.!! BCCI stinks..Team india…for Pak Stinks.!!
Sourav/Parthiv/Zaheer - MHO don’t deserve to be there.!!

I feel that inclusion of Sourav is correct. Aimn’t his die-hard fan. I do agree that he has not been playing well for last couple of years (or, more than that) and he is past his prime. He made politics in the team. Now, he is stripped off his captaincy and in the 2nd test against SL, he did a good partnership with Sachin (in the first inn) and Yuvraj (in the second inn). He did pretty well in the domestic circuit too. Of course, i hate the way this episode has been carried by politicians, selectors and BCCI. Anyways, IMO, the selection of Parthiv only made me shocked.

@narayanan sir
look at this
a player in the eleven gets dropped. the whole calcutta is in uproar. the reason given for his dropping - choosing youth over experience and building team for the future.
2 tests one of India’s best fielder is dropped and the earlier dropped guy is chosen back. the reason given - we want experienced people…

sundaresan
i honestly believe given a chance for an extended period of time, i too can do well in 2 tests
No, i am not against saurav. the problem with him is, he is not willing to work on his shortcomings. Especially his shortcoming against genuine quick bowling(shoahib akhthar is a quickie in my humble opinion ).

Pk…
Me too.!! can do well.!!
I honestly believe we need fresh young blood - Though we lose a few series. That’s the way to build the team. If we continue with Experience…the young ones will gradually fade away depressed.
We’ve seen this happen all along in Indian cricket.
Shame on Pawar - Ganguly flew to meet him..and whatever happened..voila..he is in.
What about Parthiv Patel? How did he get in??
