Short post - Violin and Ilayaraja

Man created a musical instrument called violin.
God wanted to give heart and soul to that instrument.
He wanted man to laugh, cry and mourn to every sound that emanates from violin. And he created Ilayaraja.

  2. Balaji S Rajan Says:

Nothing but wind is super. PK… I think Rajaparvai was a classic one by Ilaiyaraja. Especially ‘Andhi Mazhai pozhigirathu ‘. Regarding usage of Violin, needless to say in many songs he has depended on it. I have heard that there used to be hundreds of violinists in his orchestra.

  3. keerthi Says:

AR Rahman is equally good on violin (if you meant composition).

Flute was best at Ilayaraja’s pocket. And Now, Navin in Rahman’s troop is melting hearts.. i would fall in his feet and surrender all my kingdoms to him
