yaar my mouth is watering.. I have a the same feeling for the hotel called Krishna bavan in Malleswaram bangalore. With rasam idli, gree idlie and what varieties. Every return from my onsite trip i go straight there for my Breakfast.

The dosai they bring is so huge i was wondering if this is for eating or for spreading and lying down.

Amazing variation in prices.!! 15 Rupees for dinner..can’t believe it.!!

PS - Shall we start a Restaurant project?? Wondering..if it will be profitable.!!

PK, just a casual observation. For the last 3 years I ate idli/dosa(actually, something that tries very hard to resemble the idli!) once in 4-5 months. For few years before that it was once a week(this something had better resemblance). I sometimes wonder how TN settled guys who consume it on a daily basis(from Thottil to ICU) can still do life-long QA on the hows and whys of idli preparation and pricing.(Although the idli is comparitively easier to make than the chappathi, the latter is more homogeneous in terms of results and there is less discussion on it)

Perhaps this itself can lead to a psycho-nutritional blog series whose findings may result in an even-greater elevated status for the idli
