You hit the nail on the head :) Some people can go to any length to catch votes.
And where are the Church heads who would welcome this decision from the Govt?

  10. Ram Viswanathan Says:

    PK

    Karthik is right on..
    Oh Jesus.. Forgive them..

  11. Ravi Says:

First of all, I wonder if the people who oppose (atleast most of them) know what the contents of the movie/book are!!! If they are opposing the fact about married Jesus - are they opposing the tradition of manhood which has been carried down for ages? Strrrange!!!!! As people said here, Let Jesus save them.

  12. Ms.Congeniality Says:

I feel that hinduism is most flexible. In the south, we have ganapathy as a brahmachari, but in the north, people believe that he has two wives(sidhi and budhi). But since there is no such flexibility in christianity they are bound to take this as a big issue. So, banning the film here means respecting their values(though it might have been done with the intention of what u have mentioned)

  13. Jo Says:

Father forgive them for they not know what they are doing. :-)
I am lucky its being released here in Kerala. And PK, you will find punched DVDs (good prints) pretty soon in Chennai. So don’t worry.

And gawd! I envy the producers of this movie. They are going to make a hell lotta money out of all the publicity they got with the controversy. What I heard is just an ordinary thriller is now going to make the biggest gross collection world over!
