hmm…fantastic.!!
I was discussing this the other day.
Now they have 3 more planets.!! (Did they vote for it? no idea)
Anyways..How will it affect the old/new Horoscopes? Will they have more squares now?
August 20th, 2006 at 1:16 am
Narayanan sir, I’ve asked and even teased my father’s friend talking about these new found stars/planets. Their statement is that these do not affect us, as they are very far from our planet. Hmm.. interesting..
I’m going to look at “What the Bleep Do We Know”, a movie/documentary about quantum uncertainity of life and how it all changes our perspective of looking at horoscopes.. let me see how that turns out.

Unga ooru ammani Ayn Rand ‘The virtues of being Selfish’ pathi eludhirkalaame theriyuma?
August 22nd, 2006 at 12:10 am
Dinesh,
Instead of looking at it as nimadhi theduradhu, why not see it as being aware of whats going on around us. Eppo paathalum innum venumgra attitude, namma mattum nalla irukkonumgra attitude ellam reduces when one is aware of what others are going through. Seriya solla theriyaama nalla sodhapuren, but I believe that everyone finds someone better off or worse off than him in some way or the other, not necessarily monetary materialistic stuff

Wa and PK,
Appo Appo konjam thoughts varum idha pathi. When I am depressed about something in my life, or when I was given a raw deal somewhere, I’ve thought “yen namakku mattum ippdi aagudhu” nu. Then I think of people thaht are worse off in that aspect. Then I tell myself “oh I could have so easily been him” nu..although it brings a certain humility and oru content feeling, it also makes me think..”is this not equivalent to innoruthan dhukkathla kulir kaayaradhu ?” …so I feel a little guilty when I do that (although I can’t stop doing it :))
It’s similar to Phoebe in friends, where she tries to do a completely selfless act…and realizes that the satisfaction she gets out of it, makes it a little selfish… which makes her realize..that there is no such act as a completely selfless act. Funny but profound.

Absolutely!
Dinesh,
enakku therinchadha solren,
Life la ‘fair’ ngra varthaiku avlova edame illa!
i think fair is kinda relative. there is no absolute definition for it.
Each person has his own definition of fair and just based on so many things including his experiences, brought ups, etc.
next time depressed a irundha pesama music podu/compose pannu or drums adi, nothing takes one away from depression as quickly as one’s hobby and interests:)
this blog was born out of loneliness and depression
