Plagiarism?
Regulars to my blog would’ve read my short story Dei Kandha written in August 2006. But I got the shock of my life when I was reading Subramanya Raju vin Kadhaigal published by Kizhakku padhipaggam. The reason? His story Innoru Kanavu and mine was remarkably similar in content. His story had used dreams while I had used voice hallucination. And I swear, I’ve never read Subramanya Raju before.
From here on, I guess I will think twice before blaming someone of lifting someone else’s works
I pray no one tells me there will be seven stories with the same content in the world
Those who have read that short story of SR’s, please let me know your views on this. I guess this is not plagiarism as my narration was quite different from his. But your 2 cents are more than welcome.
