I agree with Sree. Those who intend to follow are only yelled at by those behind them… and they are forced to follow others just like the phrase “Do as the Romans do in Rome”
Trafficavadhu signalavadhu… yaarukku. Roadlla yerangiachunna formula 1 pooraninaipputhan. Pedestrians are the worst affected, esp old people, pregnant ladies and school children

Coming to the issue at hand, the main menace in any city at the moment is 1. Autorickshaws 2. Call Taxi Omni Vans 3. Tata Indica Cabs 4. An Unidentified Running Object which is a cross between an Auto and a pickup truck.
All the above mentioned guys have no regard for traffic rules or who’s driving alongside them. Avanunga vazhi, thaneeeee vazhi.
When you see an amber and you decide to wait, it must surely be one of these guys behind you swearing at you, or calling you a wussy for following traffic rules. My car has three dirty scratch marks for which some of the above mentioned completely idiotic, ridiculously crazy NUTs are responsible.
Damn all you 1234s in every city. Ungalukku license approve panna punniyavaan mattum kaila kedachaan.. mavane seruppu thaan.
