Can any of you NRI’s please explain your logic of bashing our very own Sun TV??

I came home early on Monday evening and started channel surfing and all i get to see is how
(or why or whatever) Britney Spears lost custody of her child!!!

I’d rather see Sun Music and SCV for this. How high quality a news item is this from the ones covered by the likes of Nakheeran or Junior Vikatan??

Another thing about US. There is a peramaidi prevailing here. Unless you are of the introspective kind, you will soon get depressed. In chennai, you need not come out of your
apartment nor watch the clock to know that its 8:45 AM in the morning. As our cricket comentators keep saying, the atmosphere will be electric. Here it is like a low voltage bulb.

Even me, a guy who is as comfortable when alone as with people, ended up with a 3 hour
telephone conversation with my friend in LA just to beat the boredom. This is apart from the calls i make to IDC as part of my work.

Unless you have right company, US’s calmness can drive you nuts. Nothing desi about it. I guess that’s precisely the reason why those who visit the US feel like coming home in the first few months.

1. The weather here is indescribably awesome.

2. I have quite a few friends in this area and they take care of me very well (They better ilena prachna aydum. It might even lead to a Bandh in SJC:D).

3. You even get Ganga Jal for a few dollars. Anything and everything Desi is available for a few dollars.

4. I am spending some time in the kitchen

5. I landed here on Sep. 30 and i felt like asking,’Why so few people on the roads, is everything allright?’ Then i thought oh maybe because it was a sunday. The next day was bad too. One question that immediately struck me was ‘ Why are these guys taking part in Bandh’?

And what i hear is, this place is one of the worst in US in terms of traffic. The kathipara jn. traffic i saw before taking off from Chennai opened up in my mind

6. Anything and everything is BIG here. You go to a desi restaurant and order Bisibela bath and the quantity you get could feed an entire family for dinner in India. No wonder people in US put on weight!

To the Supreme Court of India:

Don’t you find it strange that a bunch of jokers in Tamil Nadu actually made you work on a Sunday? When none of the million odd cases lying in India could stop you from taking your summer vacations?

How more important was this Ram nonsense than all those other cases of the junta where people had been paying by selling their properties to bear the lawyer fees?

India urupadanumna first we need legal reforms.

How long would you wait in an airport? Two hours?Three? Five? How about two sessions of 8 hours each? And how about not knowing if you are departing at all, and if yes, how about having no clue to the airline you will be put into? My first departure to a foreign country was a saga of suspense and thrill. The biggest savng grace for me was Singapore Airlines.

Before we get into more detailed account, let me raise this question.
Why dont some airline carriers get into the business of renting out aircrafts to othercarriers who need it as an emergency?
