From what little i’ve seen it is indeed easier for NRIs in US.
evening 6.30 la irundhu 8.30 varaikum city traffic la apdiye ninna anubhavamellam enakku undu. its not a rare phenomenon…US madhiri ‘rest area’ aam ledhu…..idhile avasarathuku piss adikka ellam mudiyadhu..

i had a glimpse of california traffic during thanksgiving but still the experience was less harrowing than here IMHO!
