Online subscription - To all those who want my DOB

What the heck will they do with my DOB?

Just in case people are confused. This is the online subscription form for BusinessWorld magazine!!

Is he going to perform archanai on that day in Thirunallaru on my behalf?;
How about annadhanam in Madurai Meenakshi temple?

Here are my suggestions for some more form fields at the time of making a payment:

- Facility to upload my entire jadagam complete with Rasi and Navamsam;(only jpg format, file size 245 KB max)
- My latest resume (word doc only)
- Facility to enter my Voter ID; Ration card details (Big sized asterix to convey ‘REQUIRED’ field)
- My poorvigam, with option to check if my poorvigam and my wife’s poorvigam are the same (REQUIRED ofcourse)

Now that i have given so many useful suggestions, i have one last question:
Do they really want people to subscribe to their product/services?

26, originally uploaded by expertdabbler.

Can you see 26 here? I can.
Now I shot this in the beaches of Andaman.
Some small/micro organism creates this exquisite pattern. My wife thinks this is the handiwork of ‘Nandu’ (thamizh la crab). I am not sure…
The what, why and how of it is as mysterious to me as it’s probably to you.

But what the heck, let’s enjoy nature’s modern art.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This 11/26 reminds me of 11/26 of 2008 and all the mumbai carnage.

Salutes to the late Col.Unnikrishnan and his equally brave parents.

Exciting times

Flash News: Appada…I am a married man at last :D. Earlier I thought I can chronicle my marriage trials and tribulations in a blog series. Now I think I need a book project :). Anyway all is well that ends well. And I think I’ve got a person whose temperament fits mine to a T. Special thanks to NV sir’s parents for making it to the wedding and blessing us.

Another thing that got me excited was the pristine pure Radha Nagar beach, Havelock Island, Andaman. It’s truly one of the cleanest and the most beautiful of beaches in India. And nah, Goa and Kerala do not even come close in my opinion. Special thanks to Anthony Amalraj – my travel agent. Anthony runs Silverline Global Tours, Chennai. He is one guy I can boldly recommend to anyone. I have traveled to various places in his arrangement and we have always been very satisfied.

I also got a masterpiece book called ‘Seeking Wisdom’ by Peter Bevelin. And as is always the case with any book lover, a good book always gets me totally excited.

Last but not the least, came across a service called Spokn, by an Indian software company which takes on Skype and Google voice in its own inimitable way. Good to see an Indian tech company which knows a bit more than the ‘cost arbitrage’ pallavi.

The wedding ceremony, the new phase of life, a new book, a new stock I discovered, a new place I traveled… ah life is exciting indeed.

Hopefully I will blog more often in the days to come :)
